
The City Bus App
The goal of the project is to understand the problems faced by the Local Bus Users on day to day basis and to come up with an efficient solution for the same.


Problem
Local Buses being one of the oldest transportation system, it is still confusing and hard to use for the majority of the population. How Might we solve this problem?
Solution
The end product is going to be a mobile application. that allows you to Check availability of the buses, book tickets and passes online and even track the bus if possible

of the datas collected, we identify and define what exactly is the problem

Come up with ideas, brain-storm try all the possible directions with an open mind and choose one.

Out of all the respondents 52% of the people were students, employees and other regular travellers, 18% were vendors and others who travel occasionally and the rest 30% are non-travellers. after all the data being analysed the review of literature is being done to cross check the data collected in the secondary research.

Narrowing down the demographics to Bangalore, the data were collected, BMTC buses are the primary mode of transport in Bangalore, As of september 2019 BMTC operates a fleet of 6023 buses are available, Which is just 0.1% of vehicle population.
BMTC has a daily ridership of 35.8 Lakhs. which is the majority of the population, Due to crowded buses and confusing timings and routes people use personal vehicles a lot which in turn emits a lot of carbon monoxide which is bad for the environment.
